The following ICE corpora can be downloaded from this page.

* ICE East Africa comes in several different versions, including plain text, .rtf, and retagged versions for Wordsmith. All the versions are included in a single download.

• All downloads are encrypted zip files. In order to open them, you will need a password (one per corpus).

To obtain the password (please read these instructions carefully):

Download the Licence Agreement (.doc file)

Complete the Licence Agreement with your signature, affiliation address, and email address, and send it to:

If you send the signed agreement as an email attachment, please use the subject line "ICE Licence". Please note that the agreement must be signed (with your signature, not a typed name)..

When I have received the signed agreement, I will send you the relevant password(s) by email. The passwords are case-sensitive.

After you send the agreement, please be patient. I receive a very large number of requests for ICE corpora, and can rarely respond to them immediately. But I will respond....

To unlock the files, you may need the latest version of Winzip. Get it here.

To enter the password, it's a good idea to copy & paste it from the email I send you, rather than typing it yourself.

Keep a copy of the signed agreement for your own records.
